At BETWEEN we have made a 1,830 euro contribution to the Banc d’Aliments (food bank) including both individual and corporate participation, as is usual in Betweener social support actions. Contributions from Betweeners totalled 915 euros, an amount that the company has doubled.

BETWEEN’s contribution will allow the food bank to buy 100 litres of oil, 200 jars of conserves, 100 litres of soup and milk, 5 packets of biscuits, 100 packages of baby formula, 100 jars of legumes, 100 packages of baby  cereal puree and 100 jars of  baby food, which constitute essential foods for financially deprived persons.

The Banc dels Aliments de Barcelona (Barcelona food bank) is a non-profit organisation whose main aim is to recover surplus food and distribute it among local entities so it can be handed to people in need. This organisation fights for fair distribution and against hunger among those closer to us.

This year’s Betweener Social Support action is the latest of a number of regular initiatives involving aid and contributions to the Catalonia TV Marathon, the Red Cross and others, always involving direct aid to people.
