At BETWEEN we’re launching a new initiative, BETWEEN RALLY, accompanied by one of our betweeners, Xavier Téllez. He and his teammate have participated for the first time in the first event of the Classic Vehicle’s Catalan Cup season: The XVII Nocturna Classic Rally, held in Roda de Ter. “First rally of the season, where we were able to see that teams are every day more professionalised. The level increases every year and there’s a lot of pressure.”, says Xavier Téllez.

BETWEEN has become part of such an interesting project by sponsoring 1998’s Golf GTI MK II, with which Xavier and his teammate compete, and that has worked as expected, according to Téllez’s words: “the car and the measuring equipment worked perfectly. As for us, we were a bit lost during the first few stretches, where we were penalised more than we would have liked to, and this influenced the rest of the race”.

In this first event, Xavier and his teammate ended up in the tenth place in this race and in the twentieth place in the general category out of a total of 90 participants. “It is a good result and we know we can do better, and this motivates us for the following Rally.”, affirms Téllez. The following event where these two brave men will be participating, the XIV Rally dels Volcans, will take place on May 19 in Olot. GAS!
