Solid Engineering was present at the 15th Industrial Forum of the Polytechnic School of Universitat de Girona on 6 May.
The event allowed Solid to get in touch once again with university life at the time. It also gave the opportunity to students to learn about their future business sector.
The companies made a presentation through lectures and discussions. So, students felt comfortable submitting their nominations for vacancies and agreements.
The Forum is an opportunity for companies to enhance its branding and become known among future engineers. In the case of Solid Engineering, although the company has not offices in Girona, it works with several projects in the province, so the interest in candidates of the area is high.
During the introduction of Solid Engineering, the company talked about the business and current job offers. In addition, thanks to the presence of the Technical Department, it was possible to delve into the technical details of some projects. Students received information with great interest.
In the stand of Solid Engineering were represented the departments of human resources, technical and commercial. Students had the opportunity to learn more about the company through the information Solid’s team provided.
Meanwhile, future engineers had the opportunity to do quick interviews (job-speed-dating ) with all companies to have a first contact with the business and learn its philosophy and opportunities . Solid’s team was doing sessions of 5 minutes job-speed-dating for two hours with approximately 20 students.
Solid Engineering focuses every year on the reality of the university sector. In fact, only a few months ago the company was also present at the ETSEIB Forum organized by Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona (UPC), an event with similar goals.
