The Dona TIC Awards 2019, organized by the Digital Politics Department and Public Administration of the Generalitat and by the Women, Buisness and Economy Observatory of the Commerce Chamber of Barcelona, seek to recognize and promote female talent in STEM careers.
In this edition, out of 108 nominations submitted, 11 women were awarded in 7 different categories. Eli Abad, founding partner of BETWEEN, was selected by the jury and was awarded as winner of the “Entrepreneur” category.
On this fifth edition of the awards, Eli Abad told us about her experience “It has been very positive, this type of event helps the feminine talent to be visible in this sector where more women are needed. I think it’s a very good opportunity to be a reference for future professionals in this sector, who are today’s girls. If they don’t see women in the sector, they won’t choose these studies and professions in the future. “
The jury also awarded women in different categories:
