The 28th edition of the PIMEC Awards, which took place on July 1, awarded the SME prize for the most competitive company in the small business category to SOLID ENGINEERING.
SOLID ENGINEERING had to compete with 57% of all applications submitted to the Awards – 59 companies-, which were vying for the award for the most competitive SME, and with 76% of the companies that are based in Barcelona’s Metropolitan and surrounding areas. The PIMEC Awards recognize the best business initiatives carried out in Catalonia throughout 2014 across different fields and were awarded at the annual PIMEC dinner, which was attended by the President of the Catalonian government, Artur Mas.
The presentation of this award has coincided with the date that the merger between ADICIONA- a company dealing with Information and Communications Technology Services- and SOLID ENGINEERING became effective, creating BETWEEN (www. Between-tech.com), a new technology consultancy firm that will offer full consulting services in the areas of engineering and IT in order to provide knowledge and optimal solutions to each client, through talent and technology, with the aim of leading the Spanish market for technology consulting.
